Operations Manager

A diversified developer, operator, and investor of marquee real estate in 30+ markets across the globe, is looking for an Operations Manager to assist in the management of their brand new San Francisco development. This person will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, with the goal of providing the highest level of service experience to establish and foster long-term customer relationships. The Operations Manager will be organized, have an eye for detail and a passion for elevated customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the property management support and maintenance teams to provide a best-in-class customer-focused experience throughout the campus/property
  • Maintain customer relationships including, hospitality, and traditional operations management
  • Understand customer business needs and leverage the company platform and resources to solve real estate challenges
  • Review lease proposals and facilitate space tours for prospective customers
  • Coordinate unique events with a focus on creating and maintaining a community atmosphere
  • Develop the annual operating budget and capital plan, and present to internal stakeholders and partners
  • Financial reporting for profit and loss variances, quarterly reforecasting, and investor reports
  • Assist the Property Manager and Director to drive amenity engagement
  • Lead a cross-functional team to ensure all corporate objectives, policies and standards are met
  • Oversee management of third-party maintenance contractors to ensure compliance with contractual obligations
  • Facilitate pre-built and landlord-built customer spaces
  • Supervise all base building capital and major repair and maintenance projects; track and manage finances for projects
  • Assist the Property Management team with projects and communication
  • Respond to building emergencies during and after hours

Requirements

  • At least 3+ years of experience in a similar role within real estate industry
  • Bachelor’s degree required (with a focus on real estate preferred)
  • Prior real estate with open/public space experience preferred
  • Financial experience including costs, budgets, service contracts and arrears
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or equivalent
  • MRI experience
  • Experience leading a multi-layered team
  • Able to take initiative and be a proactive leader who is focused on continuous improvement

Project Manager

A reputable San Diego based general contractor that specializes in all areas of commercial tenant improvements including; retail, corporate office environments, life science facilities and building re-imaging is looking for a Project Manager to oversee multiple projects. The Project Manager will provide planning, design, communication, coordination and conflict resolution to ensure that construction project goals are met. This person oversees planning and execution of the contracted scope of work including preparation and presentation of cost proposals, preparation of subcontracts, submittal and schedule management, project budget management, and maintenance of job cost reports. The Project Manager reviews and approves designs and construction drawings, bid documents, pay applications, change orders, etc. This individual must be organized and task oriented, able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented
environment with multiple deadlines, adapt readily to changing priorities, energetic and motivated.
