San Diego/Remote
A boutique recruiting firm specializing in full-time, permanent placements within the commercial real estate industry (CRE) is looking for a Recruiting and Operations leader. Known for a personalized, high-integrity approach to search and our deep industry expertise, Building Careers, LLC is expanding the team with a dynamic professional who can help lead both recruiting and operational functions.
This is a unique entrepreneurial opportunity to work in unison with the company founder across recruiting, business development, relationship management, and operations. The ideal candidate will enjoy remote flexibility (with preference for San Diego market familiarity), the chance to take on a leadership role in a high-integrity/values-driven firm, and growth potential tied to performance and contribution.

- Manage and grow client relationships through consistent, high-quality service and follow-up
- Manage full-cycle recruiting: sourcing, screening, scheduling, and candidate support
- Build and nurture a talent pool of top commercial real estate candidates
- Serve as a trusted partner to clients and candidates throughout the hiring process
- Maintain and optimize internal systems (workbooks, CRM, tracking tools, scheduling platforms)
- Coordinate and oversee operational workflows to ensure efficiency and follow-through
- Identify opportunities for improvement across recruiting and client delivery processes

- Strong technology fluency—comfortable with CRMs, applicant tracking tools, and productivity platforms
- Ability and drive to work independently while still collaborating closely with leadership
