A national real estate investment company led by an experienced management team with a proven track record of investing, developing and operating life science real estate is looking for an experienced Senior Analyst/Associate to support their Portfolio Management team.
This key team addition will contribute to reporting and management efforts for the company’s growing portfolio while working closely with the investor relations, asset management, and acquisitions teams. The Senior Analyst/Associate will principally focus on modeling Fund performance, collaborating on investor reports and quarterly valuations, and contributing to fundraising efforts. Responsibilities
- Maintain detailed and dynamic Fund valuation model to assess performance, monitor liquidity, and assist in evaluating Fund investments
- Prepare quarterly valuation memos, investor reports, and board presentations ensuring consistency and accuracy in figures and messaging
- Report portfolio returns and provide insights to senior management in a clear and concise manner
- Forecast capital needs and financing strategies in coordination with the Fund Operations and Debt Capital Markets teams
- Monitor investment performance in conjunction with local Asset Management teams including reviewing working capital, reserves, and Fund diversification
- Support marketing and fundraising efforts by monitoring industry trends, responding to investor inquiries, and communicating Fund performance and investment progress to stakeholders
- Complete ad-hoc projects as needed and contribute to a collaborative, multi-functional team
Requirements
- Minimum 2-6 years of relevant experience in investment banking or real estate private/public equity
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field required, MBA a plus
- Advanced Excel financial modeling and analytical skills with direct fund modeling experience a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills, sharp attention to detail, and dedication to excellence in work product and delivery
- Robust creative problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task and execute a wide range of assignments
- Ability to work effectively with both peers and senior management in a highly entrepreneurial, team-oriented environment
