An innovative life science investor/developer is looking to add a Senior Property Manager (PM) to the team as new projects come on-line. This position provides a great opportunity for career development and a collegial work/life culture balance. This key player will supervise maintenance and construction personnel, as well as other property management staff, and work directly with company owners/executives.
Responsibilities
- Managing the operation and maintenance of the properties
- Maintaining strong and positive communication with tenants to provide a high level and responsive customer service
- Invoicing and collecting tenant rents, serving legal notices (3-days) to tenants and processing unlawful detainers
- Preparing annual property budgets and the implementation thereof, including identifying capital improvements and completing CAM reconciliations
- Communicating and maintaining relationships with vendors regarding service and construction contracts
- Supervise maintenance, construction and other property management personnel
- Working with the Managing Partners to oversee major repairs and construction projects including tenant and building improvements, to include meeting with contractors, establishing and maintaining work schedules and other related tasks
- Working with the Company’s Controller in the preparation and maintenance of the property financials
- Communicating with leasing agents for the various properties
- Preparing monthly owner reports for all managed properties (in conjunction with the Accounting team)
- Reviewing, analyzing and reporting on the financial and operational performance of the properties with the Managing Partners
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a commercial property manager, but aptitude and attitude are most important

- Demonstrating perseverance, a strong work ethic, solid organizational acumen, exceptional communication skills (phone, email, text) and a working
- Operational knowledge of commercial buildings
- Proficiency in Excel and Word is mandatory
- Familiarity with accounting systems such as Yardi and MRI a plus
